COMMON QUESTIONS
Your Questions, Answered.
Do I have to apply through UCAS, or can I apply directly?
It depends on the institution and course. Full-time undergraduate degrees at most UK universities require a IJCAS application. However, some colleges — including GBS — accept direct applications for certain programmes. Arden University also uses its own direct application process. We’ll advise you on the correct route for your Chosen course.
Is Arden University a real, accredited university?
Yes — Arden University is a fully registered university with degree-awarding powers, regulated by the Office for Students (OfS). Its degrees are valid UK qualifications, recognised by employers and professional bodies. Students on eligible courses Can also access Student Finance funding.
What qualifications do I need to get into GBS?
Entry requirements vary by course and level. For Level 4 (HNC), you typically need GCSES or equivalent. For Level 6 (BA/BSc), you generally need A-Levels or a Level 3 qualification such as a BTEC. GBS also considers work experience and equivalent qualifications. We’ll check your eligibility and advise on your strongest options during your free consultation.
Can I apply for a Master's if my undergraduate degree was abroad?
Yes — many UK universities, including our partners, accept international undergraduate degrees for postgraduate study. Your degree will need to be equivalent to a I-JK bachelor’s degree (typically verified through UK ENIC or the university’s own assessment). We help international Students navigate this process and prepare the right supporting documentation.
How long does the application process take?
A UCAS application typically takes 2-4 weeks to prepare properly if you’re starting from scratch. Direct applications to GBS or Arden can move faster — sometimes within days if documents are ready. Postgraduate applications vary. We always aim to move as quickly as your situation allows, while ensuring nothing is rushed through incorrectly.
Is your admissions support service free?
Your initial consultation is completely free. For students enrolling at our partner institutions, our admissions guidance is often included as part of the enrolment process. For independent guidance on external university applications, our advisory fees are discussed transparently upfront — with no hidden charges.
